About our momo

Momo is the national comfort food of Nepal: a thin wheat wrapper pleated by hand around a seasoned filling, then steamed or fried. We pleat every one in house and serve them with our own tomato-sesame achar. If you have only ever had a steamed momo, order the jhol momo — the dumplings arrive sitting in a warm, nutty sesame-tomato broth you drink from the bowl.

We cook to order, so tell us your heat level and we will match it. Bhojan Ghar is a family-run Nepali, Himalayan and Indian kitchen on Derry Street in Harrisburg — you order here, on our own site, and the restaurant is paid directly with no third-party commission taken out.
