Bhojan Ghar had one of the best Nepali and Indian food. I loved the jol momo. The soup was amazing! I would go there again.

We ordered on Uber Eats. Food was delivered hot and it was all delicious. Everything tasted authentic and was very flavorful. The tandoori momo was the best momo I've had. I would 100% recommend this place. It was really good.

The food was fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious, with rich flavors in every dish. We especially enjoyed the dal, rice, achar, naan, mixed vegetables, mutton and chicken.

Frequently asked questions.

Where is Bhojan Ghar located?

Bhojan Ghar is at 3867 Derry St Ste A, Harrisburg, PA — on Derry Street in east Harrisburg (Swatara Township), a few minutes from Colonial Park and the Harrisburg Mall area. There is free parking at the plaza.

What are Bhojan Ghar’s hours?

We are open Tuesday through Sunday, 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and closed on Mondays. The website shows a live open/closed indicator, and online ordering follows the same schedule.

Do you deliver, and what areas do you cover?

Yes — we deliver ourselves, no third-party app. We cover roughly a 5-mile radius of the restaurant, which is ZIP codes 17111, 17109, 17104, 17103, 17102, 17101, 17110, 17113, 17112, 17034 (Harrisburg city, Colonial Park, Paxtonia, Steelton, Highspire and the surrounding Swatara Township area). Delivery is $3.99 and free on orders over $30.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery runs about 30–60 minutes. Priority delivery is 20–45 minutes for a small rush fee. Pickup orders are usually ready in about 20 minutes.

What is a momo?

A momo is a hand-pleated Himalayan dumpling — seasoned filling wrapped in a thin wheat wrapper, then steamed or fried. It is the national comfort food of Nepal. We make ours by hand and serve seven kinds, including jhol momo (served in a warm sesame-tomato broth), chili momo, and tandoori momo.

Do you have vegetarian and vegan options?

Plenty. Veg momo, fried veg momo, samosa, pakoda, paneer dishes, daal, tandoori veg, veg biryani, veg fried rice, and vegetable thukpa are all on the menu. Several dishes are vegan or can be made vegan — ask when you order and we will tell you honestly.

Is Bhojan Ghar Nepali or Indian food?

Both, genuinely. The kitchen cooks Nepali and Himalayan dishes — momos, thali, thukpa, Nepali-style goat curry, chatamari — alongside a full Indian menu of Hyderabadi dum biryani, butter chicken, tikka masala, korma, vindaloo and tandoori.

Can I book a table?

Yes. You can request a table on this site and we will confirm it. Walk-ins are always welcome too.

How do I order online for pickup or delivery?

Browse the menu on this site, add items to your cart, and check out — you pay the restaurant directly by card. You will get an order confirmation by email, and we start cooking as soon as it comes through. No app download, and no third-party commission.

How spicy is the food?

We cook to order, so tell us your heat level and we will match it. Curries and chili dishes can be made mild, medium or hot; several dishes such as korma and butter chicken are mild by default.
